The Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings are a prestigious international forum. They facilitate dialogue between Nobel Laureates and promising young scientists from across the globe.
Established in 1951, these meetings gather Nobel Laureates in various fields. These fields include physiology/medicine, physics, chemistry, and occasionally economics.
The program spans a week and features diverse activities. These activities include lectures, panel discussions, roundtables, and informal networking opportunities.
The goal is to inspire, mentor, and promote interdisciplinary collaboration among participants.
The 75th Meeting of Nobel Laureates & Students will be held in Lindau, Germany. The meeting is scheduled from June 28 to July 3, 2026.
This meeting focuses on Interdisciplinary Sciences. It is for students and young researchers involved in studying/doing research at the intersection of at least two Nobel disciplines (physics, chemistry, and physiology or medicine) or at the intersection of one Nobel discipline and another discipline from the social or natural sciences.
The Department of Science & Technology (DST) will be awarding participation opportunities to Indian students and young researchers.
DST aims to send a group of Indian students and young researchers to the 75th Lindau Meeting. The awards are intended to support their participation in this prestigious event.
Eligible candidates are students and young researchers. They should be involved in interdisciplinary research across Nobel disciplines or between a Nobel discipline and another from the social or natural sciences.
