Event Overview

This conference focuses on emerging battery technologies within the Indian context, specifically for commercialization. It will feature R&D product displays and presentations from leading experts in the field.

The event aims to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among researchers, industry professionals, and students. It offers a platform to discuss the latest advancements and challenges in battery technology.

The conference is scheduled for two days, offering a comprehensive overview of the current landscape and future prospects of battery technologies in India.

Date, Time, and Location

The conference will be held on Thursday, July 24th, and Friday, July 25th, 2025. The event will run from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. each day.

The venue is Sir C. V. Raman Auditorium, located at IISER, Pashan, Pune. This location provides a suitable environment for presentations, discussions, and networking.

Attendees should plan their travel and accommodation accordingly, keeping in mind the event's location and schedule.

Speakers and Inaugural Guests

The inaugural function will feature esteemed guests including Dr. Reji Mathai (Director, ARAI), Prof. Sunil Bhagwat (Director, DBATU), and Dr. Ravi Pandit (Chairman, Group CEO, KPIT). Dr. Anita Gupta (Scientist G, DST, GOI), Mr. Shrikant Marathe (Chairman, LWT Group), and Prof. Satishchandra Ogale (Director, R&D, TCG CREST) will also be present.

A diverse panel of speakers and panelists will share their expertise, including Dr. Shankar Venugopal, Mr. Venugopal Rao Maddisetti, Dr. Björn Mirdell, and Prof. Dr. Amit Patra, among many others.

These experts represent various organizations and institutions, ensuring a broad range of perspectives on emerging battery technologies.

Registration and Abstract Submission

Registration is required to attend the conference. The registration fee varies based on the attendee category:

• Ph.D. Students / Postdocs / Students: ₹3,000
• R&D Industry / Conference Attendees (Engineering Functions): ₹6,000
• SAEINDIA, ARAI & LWT Members: ₹5,000
• Industry Participants: ₹10,000

The registration fee is inclusive of GST. Abstract submissions are now open, and all paper presentations will be in poster format.

The deadline for abstract submission is July 10, 2025. Participants are encouraged to submit their work for consideration.

Prizes and Contacts

Best poster presentations will be awarded prizes. The first prize is Rs. 7500 along with a certificate. Two runner-up prizes of Rs. 3500 each, along with certificates, will also be awarded.
