The Academic Writing Lab (AWL) at IIIT-Delhi is hosting the Humanities Initiative Annual International Symposium. This symposium aims to bring together scholars, researchers, and practitioners to discuss pressing issues within the humanities.

The central theme of this year's symposium is "Digital Inequalities and the Question of Global South." This theme encourages exploration of the complex relationship between digital transformation and global inequities.
The symposium will focus on the unique challenges faced by the Global South in the digital age. It seeks to understand how digital technologies exacerbate or alleviate existing inequalities.
Papers and presentations are expected to address various aspects of this theme, including access, policy, and socio-economic impacts.
The symposium is currently accepting submissions for papers. Scholars, researchers, and practitioners are invited to submit their abstracts for consideration.
The deadline for abstract submissions is June 30, 2025. Ensure that your submissions are sent before this date to be considered for presentation.
