Overview

The EICT Academy, MNIT Jaipur, in collaboration with AICTE, DST, and IBM, is organizing an Online Faculty Programme on QT-05: Quantum Computation. This intensive training is scheduled from July 11 to August 2, 2025.

The program is designed for faculty, doctoral students, and industry professionals interested in exploring Quantum Technologies. It aligns with the AICTE-approved Minor Curriculum on Quantum Computing.

This 20-day program offers expert talks and certification upon completion. Limited seats are available, so early registration is encouraged.

Schedule and Format

The program will run from July 11 to August 2, 2025, taking place from Monday to Saturday. Each session will be conducted online, running from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM daily.

This schedule allows participants to engage in a 40-hour intensive training program. The online mode ensures accessibility for participants from various locations.

The program includes webinar classes with one-to-one Webex sessions. Notes and slides will be shared with participants for comprehensive learning.

Themes and Modules

The program covers a range of modules including qubits vs classical bits, basic quantum logic gates, and quantum correlations. Participants will also learn about quantum algorithms such as Deutsch, Grover's, and Shor's algorithms.

Additional topics include quantum complexity classes, error correction, and quantum computer vision. The curriculum is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of quantum computation.

The program will also cover advanced quantum algorithms like Variational Quantum Eigensolver (VQE), HHL, and QAOA. These modules aim to equip participants with the latest knowledge in the field.

Speakers and Experts

The program features talks from experts including Dr. Aswath Babu (IIIT Dharwad), Dr. Jayakumar Vaithiyashankar (Ananthra & IBM Educator), and Dr. Anindita Banerjee (C-DAC Pune). Other speakers include Dr. Santosh Vipparthi (IIT Ropar) and researchers from IBM Quantum.

The diverse panel of speakers ensures a wide range of perspectives and expertise. Participants will benefit from the knowledge and experience of leading professionals in quantum computing.

Speakers like Mr. A. Ananda Raman (NISER, Bhubaneswar) and Mr. Jinesh VN (Presidency University, Bengaluru) will also contribute. Their sessions will provide valuable insights into practical applications and research advancements.

Registration and Certification

Registration is open to faculty, working professionals, industry persons, and students. Participants will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis, so prompt registration is advised.

The certification fee for academic participants (faculty/PhD scholars) from India, SAARC, and African countries is ₹500. For professionals, industry personnel, and others from the same regions, the fee is ₹1000.

Participants from countries outside SAARC will be charged a fee of USD $60. The fee covers online participation, materials, and the certificate upon completion.
