Overview

Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT) Jaipur is organizing an intensive 40-hour online training programme. This Faculty Development Program (FDP) focuses on Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence (AI) and their applications in the healthcare sector.

The program is designed for faculty, doctoral students, and working professionals from engineering, technological institutions, and industry. It aims to provide fundamental practical knowledge of Blockchain and AI.

Participants will gain familiarity with basic theories, algorithms, and current technologies in Blockchain and AI. Research challenges specific to Blockchain and AI in healthcare will also be addressed.

Dates and Mode

The FDP will be conducted online from June 16 to June 20, 2025. This allows participants to attend from anywhere with an internet connection.

The online mode facilitates accessibility for a wider audience, including those from different geographical locations. The program spans five days, offering a concentrated learning experience.

Participants should ensure they have a stable internet connection and necessary software to participate effectively. The training program totals 40 hours of instruction.

Themes and Modules

The training program covers a range of themes, including Blockchain basics, AI fundamentals, and their applications in healthcare. Specific modules include introduction to Blockchain, consensus mechanisms, and Blockchain applications in healthcare.

AI modules will cover introduction to AI, its types, and applications in healthcare such as diagnosis, imaging, and drug discovery. Hands-on sessions with Blockchain and AI tools will also be included.

The program aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of both theoretical concepts and practical applications. Participants will explore topics like security, trust, and interoperability within the context of healthcare.

Speakers and Experts

Lectures will be delivered by experienced academicians and industry experts. The speakers include Dr. Jaiteg Singh from Chitkara University, Dr. Vishal Bharti from Gautam Buddha University, and Dr. Mrinal Kanti Bhowmick from NIT Arunachal Pradesh.

Other experts include Dr. A M Muxi from AMU, Dr. Javed Aslam from BIT Mesra, Mr. Arun Prakash from IBM, and Mr. Rajan Rawal, a Startup Founder. These speakers bring a wealth of knowledge and practical experience.
