This workshop, fully sponsored by the Indian Council of Social Sciences Research (ICSSR), aims to enhance the research capacity of faculty members in Social Sciences and allied disciplines. It is being held at the Indira Gandhi National Open University Regional Centre Panji (Goa).
The workshop focuses on conducting quality research, publishing research papers, and selecting appropriate research designs. Participants will also learn to prepare and submit socially relevant research projects.
The goal is to develop skills for data analysis, formulating research problems, and constructing data collection tools. This will enable participants to contribute meaningfully to their respective fields.

A duly signed recommendation-cum-forwarding letter is mandatory for all applicants. This letter must be uploaded using the provided Google Drive link. Applications without this letter will not be considered.
The selection process will scrutinize applications based on academic qualifications, work experience, and a 200-word write-up. The final list of selected candidates will be announced on August 20th, 2025.
The last date for online registration is August 16th, 2025, at 5:00 PM. Ensure your application is submitted before this deadline to be considered.

A total of 30 participants will be selected for the workshop. Preference will be given to young candidates pursuing research with limited exposure to Research Methodology.
There are 10 seats reserved for outstation participants and 20 seats for participants from Goa state. This ensures a diverse group of attendees.
Selected participants are required to bring their laptops to the workshop. This is essential for hands-on activities and data analysis sessions.
Outstation participants will be reimbursed for to and fro travel fares (3 tier AC/AC Chair Car/RTC Volvo Bus). Original tickets must be submitted for reimbursement.
Accommodation on a twin-sharing basis will be provided to all participants at no cost. This ensures comfortable lodging throughout the workshop duration.
Working lunch, tea, and other refreshments will be provided to all participants free of charge. This will help keep participants energized and focused.
