The 2026 Hemophilia Fellowship – United States, a competitive grant program from Pfizer, supports an institution-based fellowship emphasizing shared decision making (SDM), patient education, and multidisciplinary team-based care. The program aims to strengthen hemophilia care through equitable education and patient-centered shared decision making in a rapidly evolving treatment landscape.
The fellowship is designed for accredited U.S.-based academic institutions with established clinical training programs. Institutions are encouraged to identify and address educational needs, barriers, and gaps for People Living with Hemophilia (PLwH) relating to the new treatment landscape. A structured education program including care for underserved populations, an SDM training curriculum, mentorship, and a practical capstone project are strongly encouraged.
Grant funding is available to support one fellow for up to one year at $100,000 USD. The budget may only include salary and support of the fellow benefits. Grant funds cannot be used for overhead or indirect costs. Funding will be awarded to the institution, not an individual.
