Pfizer Research Grant Request for Proposals: Biochemical and Molecular Characterization of Marstacimab and TFPI Pathways supports basic science research aimed at elucidating the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying marstacimab–TFPI interactions. This competitive grant program, governed by Pfizer’s internal review process, invites proposals that advance foundational understanding of Tissue Factor Pathway Inhibitor (TFPI) biology, anti-TFPI monoclonal antibodies, and marstacimab through innovative approaches in biochemistry, molecular biology, and related disciplines.
This grant program encompasses research into the biochemical and molecular characterization of marstacimab and TFPI pathways. Projects should seek to clarify the mechanisms of marstacimab–TFPI interactions, including but not limited to differential expression of tissue factor and TFPI in various tissues, binding kinetics, and other biochemical properties. The program prioritises fundamental biological understanding of TFPI, anti-TFPI monoclonal antibodies, and marstacimab within the context of haemophilia and other bleeding disorders.
Proposals may address, but are not limited to, the following areas of interest:
Geographic scope: Brazil, China, Germany, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Spain, Turkey, United Kingdom, and United States.
Applicant and institutional criteria:
Applications must be submitted through the online portal at www.cybergrants.com/pfizer/Research. First-time users should click “Create your password” and then “Start A New Research Grant Application”.
Submission requirements:
Proposals should be single-spaced, Calibri 12-point font, with 1-inch margins, and must not exceed 15 pages (exclusive of references). The full proposal must address: goals and objectives, assessment of need, target audience, project design and methods, innovation, evaluation and outcomes, anticipated project timeline, additional information, organisation details, and a detailed budget in USD.
