Project Overview

This grant seeks to fund the development of innovative, interdisciplinary curricula within the humanities department. The goal is to modernize course offerings to better reflect contemporary scholarly conversations, emphasizing digital humanities tools, global perspectives, and critical engagement with emerging technologies.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be affiliated with an accredited, degree-granting institution.
  • The project must involve at least three distinct academic disciplines within the humanities (e.g., History, Literature, Philosophy).
  • A minimum of two full-time faculty members must be committed to the project for the duration of the grant.

Scope of Work

Successful applicants will be expected to:

  1. Develop detailed syllabi and learning objectives for at least three new courses.
  2. Create associated digital learning materials, including primary source databases or interactive modules.
  3. Host a final symposium to present the developed curricula to the broader academic community.

Budget Guidelines

The budget must allocate funds across the following categories:

  • Workshop/Symposium Costs (Max 15%): For dissemination and training.
  • Contingency (Max 15%).
