Overview

This scholarship programme is designed for EU nationals enrolled as full-time students in formal sciences, humanities, natural sciences, professions and applied sciences, or social sciences at eligible German universities. The award supports students at the First Stage Researcher (R1) career stage, up to the point of PhD. The programme also provides mobility support for incoming researchers in Germany.

Funding and Benefits

• Monthly allowance: 300 EUR initially for one year.
• Renewal: The scholarship is renewable yearly until graduation.
• Study abroad support: Grant subsidies for studying abroad for a maximum of 12 months are available.
