About

I am a Professor of Geography at D.S. College, Aligarh, affiliated with Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh State University, Uttar Pradesh, with an academic career focused on Geography, environmental studies, cultural landscapes, tourism, and sustainable regional development. My research interests particularly explore the relationships between people, place, environment, sacred landscapes, pilgrimage, and rural development, with growing emphasis on GIS and remote sensing applications in geographical research. I have been actively involved in teaching, research, academic conferences, and research-project activities, including work related to the Braj/84-Kos sacred landscape, and I seek to develop interdisciplinary research that connects geographical knowledge with contemporary environmental and societal challenges.
