The DRIVE35: Scale Up Fund supports UK registered organisations in establishing scale up manufacturing facilities for zero emission vehicle technologies. Managed by Innovate UK, with co-funding from the Department for Business and Trade (DBT) and the Advanced Propulsion Centre UK (APC), this programme offers a share of up to £150 million in grant funding. The total fund available is £150,000,000. Funding is provided as a grant. Applicants may apply for a share of this total fund to support the creation of scale up manufacturing facilities.
To lead a project, an organisation must be a UK registered business. Non-UK registered businesses may apply but must establish a UK registered business before any grant can be awarded. The UK registered entity must deliver the project, and the project cannot begin until the business is set up with UK staff in place. Both single applicants and collaborations are welcome to apply.
