The BJA FY 2026 Invited to Apply – Public Safety Officers’ Benefits (PSOB) Support Program provides funding to the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) to support its membership.

Overview

This funding opportunity supports the filing of a PSOB application for federal benefits to families of fallen firefighters and emergency medical workers, as well as for catastrophically injured firefighters and emergency medical workers due to line-of-duty deaths and catastrophic injuries. The support extends throughout the PSOB process, including, but not limited to, claim review and appeal, as appropriate.
