The National Science and Technology Management Information System (NSTMIS) Programme by the Department of Science and Technology supports research projects that enhance data-driven policy planning in the Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI) sector. The programme focuses on gathering, analyzing, and disseminating key S&T information at a national level to aid effective resource utilization and policy formulation.

Scope of Research

The programme sponsors studies in the following areas:

Eligibility

Researchers and professionals from academic/research institutions, NGOs, registered societies, and professional bodies in fields like science, technology, statistics, economics, sociology, policy, and management are encouraged to apply.
