The Wenner-Gren Foundation offers various resources and support pathways for researchers and scholars.
Additional support is available for crafting a Dissertation Fieldwork Grant Proposal. Foundation Anthropologist Dr. Brendane A. Tynes provides a deep dive into each question and offers practical strategies for creating a successful application during a dedicated training session.
Included with the training is the “Think Like a Reviewer” activity, which applicants may use to help assess their proposals. Dr. Tynes advises completing this activity within a writing group while refining drafts ahead of submission deadlines.
Applicants are encouraged to visit the Proposal Repository and watch informational workshops facilitated by President Danilyn Rutherford for further resources and insight on proposal writing.
The Foundation maintains several resources to guide applicants through the grant process.
The Foundation directs applicants to specific areas for funding inquiries.
