The Fellowship is open to individuals whose enterprises are at an early stage and who are experts in the challenges they are tackling.

Echoing Green seeks leaders who reflect the communities they serve and bring deep knowledge of the issues to their work.

Scope of Work

The Echoing Green Fellowship Program provides comprehensive support to help Fellows grow their impact and bring their ideas to life.

This support includes leadership development, wellness and wellbeing support, expert resources, seed funding, virtual and in-person convenings, and expert support from leading professionals.

Eligibility

Applicants must be 18 years or older by June 1, 2025, and must be able to proficiently communicate in English.

Applicants of all nationalities, working in any country, can apply.

Applicants must be an original founder or a leading member of the proposed organization's founding team.

They must be a leader with decision-making power within the organization and be either a sole founder or a leading founder on a team.

Applicants must be the primary decision maker and have ultimate authority over the organization's growth and strategic vision.

They must be able to work full time on their proposed organization throughout the 18-month Fellowship.

Budget and Duration

The Echoing Green Fellowship provides a stipend of $100,000 USD over 18 months.

Funding offered to for-profit organizations is in the form of recoverable grants.

Additional Information

Organizations that are independent but have fiscal sponsors are eligible for the Echoing Green Fellowship as long as the fiscal sponsor has no authority over the organization's work and decision making.

The organization cannot engage in recruitment, promotion, or conversion for a specific religious faith to its constituency.

No founding team members or people in a leadership position can be an Echoing Green Fellow.

Echoing Green cannot distribute funds to organizations whose primary purpose is lobbying.
