The Foreign Affairs Information Technology (FAIT) Fellowship 2025 is a two-year program funded by the U.S. Department of State.

  • Be enrolled or planning to enroll in a full-time IT-related degree program at a U.S.-based accredited institution.

  • Hold a minimum 3.2 GPA on a 4.0 scale at the time of the application and maintain this GPA throughout the program.

Specific eligibility criteria vary based on the level of study (undergraduate or graduate). For undergraduate applicants, there are requirements regarding enrollment in a full-time IT-related bachelor's degree program and graduation timeline. Graduate applicants must be seeking admission to a full-time, IT-related master's degree program and be on a timeline to graduate within four full-time semesters.

The FAIT Fellowship is a two-year program that provides financial support for an IT-related degree program.

Additional Information

Selected fellows are required to obtain and maintain security clearances and suitability requirements, and meet minimum medical qualification standards.
