Introduction

The Halcyon DMV Climate Innovation Fellowship 2025 is a program designed to support entrepreneurs in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) area who are developing solutions to address climate change. The program provides fellows with expert training, resources, and networking opportunities to accelerate their ventures. The fellowship aims to empower entrepreneurs to tackle climate mitigation, adaptation, and resilience challenges.

Scope of Work

The fellowship program focuses on supporting ventures that are building scalable solutions to address climate change. The program provides training in product-market fit, investment readiness, and leadership. The program is delivered through a virtual kickoff meeting, two in-person residency weeks in the DMV, and monthly meetings.

Eligibility

The fellowship is open to for-profit startups based in or serving the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area. Applicants must have a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) that has the potential to scale and be working on their venture full-time. The applicant must be the CEO or hold primary decision-making power, be fluent in English, and be at least 21 years of age by the start of the program. The venture must contribute towards one or more of the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

Budget and Duration

Selected fellows will receive a $10,000 stipend in Amazon Web Services (AWS) credits and a $5,000 stipend per venture.
