The IndiaAI–NCG Cancer AI & Technology Challenge (CATCH) is a national innovation grant program designed to foster the co-development and validation of AI-driven solutions. Eligibility Criteria

• Startups and healthtech firms are encouraged to apply, bringing their agility and innovative approaches to the challenge.

• Academic and research institutions can contribute their deep knowledge and research capabilities.

• Hospitals and non-profit organizations are also eligible, providing crucial clinical insights and patient-centered perspectives.

Joint teams must include a Clinical Lead (NCG-affiliated or validated) and a Technology Lead to ensure a balanced approach.

Project Requirements

Successful proposals must demonstrate a clear path to real-world application and impact. The focus is on solutions that are ready for deployment and can significantly improve cancer care outcomes.

Proposals must be at TRL 5+, indicating that the technology has been validated in a relevant environment. A clear roadmap outlining the development and validation process is essential.

The proposed AI solutions should address critical needs in cancer care, such as early detection, accurate diagnostics, personalized treatment plans, and improved patient support.

Funding and Selection

The CATCH challenge offers substantial support to promising projects, facilitating their translation from concept to reality. The selection process is competitive, ensuring that the most innovative and impactful solutions are prioritized.

Up to 10 proposals will be selected for funding, providing a significant opportunity for teams to advance their AI solutions. The grant aims to accelerate the development and validation of these technologies in the Indian healthcare context.
