Description

The International Skills Partnership opportunity in Nepal invites qualified UK further education colleges or training organisations to apply for a new grant-funded partnership focused on green skills and employer engagement.

Overview

The British Council is offering this partnership under the Going Global Partnerships programme, which builds stronger, more inclusive, internationally connected higher education and TVET systems. Previous International Skills Partnerships in Nepal led to the establishment and operationalisation of the Green Skills Advisory Board (GSAB), inspired by the UK Green Skills Advisory Panel. The new partnership aims to build on these achievements by strengthening the capacity of the GSAB, supporting the pilot implementation of a new green skills curriculum, and enhancing engagement with private sector employer organisations.

British Council teams in the UK and Nepal will provide ongoing advice and guidance throughout the partnership to facilitate communication and deliver maximum benefit. Relevant British Council tools and materials will also be shared to support project activities.

  • Grant amount: £15,000 to support partnership activities
  • Project length: 15 months, starting from July 2026
