The National Service for Non-offending Family Members of Child Sexual Abuse Perpetrators supports the reduction of child sexual abuse-related harms by providing free, nationally available support for non-offending family members of child sexual abuse perpetrators.
The Service grant program is an open process invitation from the Australian Government to deliver a National Service for Non-offending Family Members of Child Sexual Abuse Perpetrators. This initiative was announced as part of the Australian Government’s National Strategy to Prevent and Respond Child Sexual Abuse 2021-2030 – First National Action Plan, Measure 10, and contributes to the Attorney-General’s Department’s Outcome 1, Program 1.4 Justice Services.
The objective of the Service is to provide support and advocacy for non-offending family members at the time of crisis and through ongoing periods of adjustment, recovery, and healing.
