This is a limited competition Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for the National Cancer Institute (NCI) National Clinical Trials Network (NCTN).

The NCI seeks applications from institutions/organizations that propose to maintain Network Group Statistics and Data Management Centers (SDMCs) for the NCTN. The NCTN Network SDMCs will provide statistical expertise for effective scientific design, conduct, and data management of clinical trials led by the associated NCTN Network Group Operations Center.

This NOFO is only open to current award recipients under RFA-CA-17-057.

Scope of Work

The NCTN Network Group Statistics and Data Management Centers will provide statistical expertise for effective scientific design, conduct, and data management of clinical trials led by the associated NCTN Network Group Operations Center.

The SDMCs will be responsible for providing robust statistical analysis plans for clinical trials and trial monitoring to ensure appropriate trial conduct and outcomes validity.

They will also be responsible for data management, data analysis, and statistical analysis for NCTN trials led by their affiliated Network Group Operations Center as well as for translational and other ancillary studies associated with the trials.

Eligibility

Only the current award recipients under RFA-CA-17-057 are eligible to submit applications in response to this NOFO.

Applicant organizations must complete and maintain the following registrations: System for Award Management (SAM), NATO Commercial and Government Entity (NCAGE) Code (if applicable), eRA Commons, and Grants.gov.

All registrations must be completed prior to the application being submitted.

Budget and Duration

NCI intends to commit $47 million in FY 2026 to fund 5 awards.

Application budgets are not limited but need to reflect the actual needs of the proposed project.

The total project period requested may not exceed 6 years.

Additional Information

Only one application per institution is allowed.

The NIH will not accept duplicate or highly overlapping applications under review at the same time.
