Scope of Work

The CDA program provides participants with a comprehensive framework for developing and implementing participatory climate programs.

Participants will receive mentorship, access to resources like the Participation Playbook, and participate in live sessions and online courses.

The program culminates in the development and implementation of a climate-focused participatory project.

Eligibility

The CDA program is open to government officials, staff members, and policymakers who are interested in launching participatory programs for climate-related decision-making.

Civil society organizations and climate advocates are also eligible, provided they partner with a government institution.

The program prioritizes applications from organizations based in G20 countries, particularly Brazil, India, Mexico, South Africa, and Indonesia.

Budget and Duration

Selected applicants will receive a $10,000 USD implementation grant to support their project.

The program also offers an additional $20,000 USD award for the best project developed by participants.

The CDA program spans six months, providing participants with the necessary time to develop and implement their initiatives.
