The Pfizer Quality Improvement Competitive Grant Program supports Quality Improvement (QI) initiatives aimed at identifying and addressing gaps in adult vaccinations within India.
This competitive program seeks to support QI initiatives that identify and address gaps in adult vaccinations. The goal is to implement diverse interventions—for both healthcare professionals (HCPs) and consumers—to improve and optimize access and immunization practices, ultimately leading to increased vaccination coverage among adults, including the elderly and at-risk populations.
Potential applicants are encouraged to address immunization practice and vaccination access gaps in adults, including at-risk, high-risk, and/or elderly populations. Areas of interest include:
The program will prioritize adult immunization across hospital-based care pathways by engaging specialties such as Internal Medicine, Pulmonology, Cardiology, Nephrology, Endocrinology, Oncology, Geriatrics, and Infectious Diseases. Target patient segments include older adults, the elderly, and at-risk/high-risk groups (such as those with chronic heart/lung/kidney/liver disease, diabetes, immunocompromise, or pregnancy), across ED, inpatient, day-care, and OPD follow-ups.
Geographic Scope: India
Applicant Eligibility: Eligible entities may include medical, dental, nursing, allied health, and/or pharmacy professional schools; healthcare institutions (both large and small); professional organizations; and government agencies, or other entities with a mission related to healthcare improvement.
Important Note: Only organizations are eligible to receive grants; individuals or medical practice groups are not eligible. Collaborations between departments or different organizations are encouraged, provided all partners have a relevant role and the requesting organization holds a key role.
Project Lead Requirements: The applicant must be the Project Lead/Principal Investigator (PI) or an authorized designee. The PI must be an employee or contractor of the requesting organization, which must be legally able to receive award funding directly from Pfizer International LLC. For Indian Institutions, a valid and active FCRA for the entire grant duration is mandatory.
Program Focus: The program intends to support projects focusing on immunization practice and vaccination access among adult populations. Projects evaluating the efficacy of therapeutic or diagnostic agents will not be considered.
Funding Range: Individual projects requesting up to $35,000 will be considered.
Maximum Project Length: 1 year.
