Description

The Secure Innovation: Advancing Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and Digital Resilience in Argentina opportunity, announced by the U.S. Embassy Buenos Aires, supports innovative projects that promote secure and responsible digital technology adoption in Argentina. This program aims to equip entrepreneurs, students, and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with practical tools and knowledge grounded in U.S. technological standards, strengthening economic resilience, protecting intellectual property, and fostering open and secure digital ecosystems.

Overview

The initiative addresses the need for greater exposure to secure, transparent, and market-driven approaches to artificial intelligence (AI) and digital technologies in Argentina. The project goal is to strengthen the country’s innovation ecosystem by enhancing the capacity of SMEs, students, and emerging entrepreneurs to adopt AI and digital technologies aligned with U.S. standards and values. Specific objectives include:

  • Increasing AI and cybersecurity capacity among at least 250 participants from SMEs and universities within the program period, as measured by pre- and post-training assessments.
  • Creating partnerships between U.S. AI companies and Argentine institutions, with at least two formal collaboration agreements or pilot projects established.
  • Fostering a network of students and professionals capable of applying AI to innovation and civic resilience challenges through ongoing mentorship and knowledge-sharing activities.

The expected outcome includes measurable improvements in participants’ technical knowledge and practical application of AI and cybersecurity principles, as well as strengthened institutional and private-sector linkages between the United States and Argentina.
