Introduction

The Allstate Foundation College Service Grants 2024-2025 is a funding opportunity designed to support youth-led community service initiatives at community colleges, HBCUs, and other higher education institutions across the United States. The grants aim to empower youth to serve and improve their communities, particularly in the context of a global pandemic and evolving technologies. The Center for Expanding Leadership & Opportunity (CELO) has partnered with The Allstate Foundation to redefine youth service for a new generation.

Scope of Work

The grants are intended to support initiatives that fall into one of three categories:

  • Microgrants: Directly provided to students for new, youth-led service initiatives.

  • Access Support: Initiatives that increase student access to service experiences.

  • Increasing Impact: Initiatives that enhance the depth of impact of existing youth-led service activities.

Eligibility

Funded initiatives must be youth-led, youth-driven community service projects at the applicant institution. The grant definition of community service encompasses a range of activities, from volunteerism to civic engagement.
